Angry Bird is one of the most popular game of Android platform. Tipsotricks have compiled a free version of Angry Birds exclusively for PC users. Same I have tried to run on ubuntu.
To install Angry Birds on Ubuntu you need to first install wine:
sudo apt-get install wine
After that download the installer from here
Once download completed right click on AngryBirdsInstaller_1.5.1.exe and select Open with Wine Windows Program Loader.
It will install on emulated C: drive on your machine.
To start Angry Birds, go Applications > Wine > Programs > Rovio > Angry Birds > Angry Birds
Now enjoy Angry birds on Ubuntu

how i play angry bird its not working….
Please explain your problem
i installed wine on my ubuntu. i also downloaded angry bird pc version (free). goes into my download folder of my ubuntu.
when i go to application – wine – i don’t see angry bird.
if I go to configure wine – add application – select angry bird (from download folder) – click OK. still don’t see it.
I then tried to right click on the angry bird exe and open as wine – it says blocked:
AngryBirdsRioInstaller_1.2.2.exe’ is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit.
any help???
run chmod +x AngryBirdsRioInstaller_1.2.2.exe and double click on the file for installation.
